What really makes this little motel nice is the host, Deepak. He went out of his way to help our group that needed three rooms. He was efficient and smart and friendly. The rooms were fine, and surprisingly included refrigerators and microwaves. One room had a somewhat old fashioned heating system, but it was okay. We booked directly from the motel, the price was low, and we enjoyed staying there. AND this place is secluded and quiet, and right across the highway from Apple Hill.

I felt so comfortable in this motel. My room was so clean and habitable. The folks in front of me that were registering had a dog and I was afraid my room night be flea bitten. But not one bight or itch did I experience. I have nothing at all against any animal but i do believe they have different place in life. Enough about animals. I just want to submit that I liked very much this tucked away motel. 5 stars all the way.

Fantastic! large, clean room in a quiet area. It was great. We had to be towed there and the local town truck driver tried to get us to change hotels and said horrible things about the place. The hotel refuses to rent to some of the …

Owner is very extremely nice and rooms are clean. Pool is clean and there is a wonderful shaded garden area by the pool. All staff is friendly. It is a very nice place to stay if your looking for that small town feel motel and great location.

Got Mother Loded last weekend during a wedding in Placerville. Absolutely loved it. Room was nice, pool area is great, and location was great. Can’t beat the price for what you get. Very happy with my stay and would definitely come back!

Stayed here for a few days while passing through Placerville. This motel is associated with Gold Trail Lodge and often you will find staff at either location for checkin etc. No breakfast noted, but there were candies & danish’s offered for guest in the lobby at Gold Trail Lodge. The owners Don & Livia are extremely kind & accommodated our requests. We really appreciate their hospitality. The pool is clean with varying depths and there are umbrella shaded tables and chairs for seating. Just outside the pool fence is a beautiful garden with many flowers, tons of birds & a bird bath. There is also a table with chairs to enjoy the view. The rooms are basic, but include a microwave, coffee maker & refrigerator. I would highly recommend this location compared to the other motels on the same street. More value for your money here!

The owner was super friendly and she went above and beyond to assist my fiance and I. The office closes at 10:30pm and I needed to do a late check in. The owner was willing to wait up for me even though I didnt get there until 11:30 due to dense fog. She was so nice about it. The rooms were small but very clean and updated. The bed was comfortable and the restroom was huge. I would definitely recommend this place. Very cozy and quiet. Convenient location. 8 minutes from Red Hawk Casino.

Stayed here for a Saturday night in August on my way from Sacramento to Lake Tahoe. Booking was for Mother Lode, but the office was at Gold Trail, and when I got there, the owner moved me to a room at Gold Trail. That was nice too. Room was clean with enough space. No breakfast at the motel, but they did give me a lot of choices of sweet danishes and other packaged pastries. The motel is very easy to get to, right off of the highway.
